Boleslaw Pawica – director

The director and screenwriter of the 1^st World Charity Concert for Africa CHOPIN LOVES TANZANIA .

Born August 12^th, 1961 in Czaniec/Poland.

Polish television and film director, screenwriter and producer. A graduate of the Directing Department of the Polish National Film School (The Leon Schiller’s National Higher School of Film, Television and Theatre in Łódź, Polish: PWSFTviT – Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Filmowa, Telewizyjna i Teatralna im. Leona Schillera w Łodzi). He directs and produces music shows, galas, concerts, TV programs, most of which were commissioned by Polish television stations – TVP1, TVP2, Polsat and TVN.

Together with Jarosław Szoda, he made over 80 music videos of the greatest Polish performers. Winner of many awards incl. Fryderyks (Fryderyk Chopin), Yachs, Superjedynek (Superones). The important productions of this artistic duo include the full-length feature film in the Polish-Swedish co-production “The Merchant of Miracles” with Borys Szyc in the lead role.

Since 2000, he has been a co-owner of the company FABRYKA of Film and Television Producers. In 1992-1999, the artistic director of the ACCESS GRAM TV film and television studio. In the early 1990s, he established permanent cooperation with Public Television; in subsequent years also with other nationwide commercial stations.

In the 1980s, he collaborated with Feature Film Studios in Lodz, Educational Films and Educational Programs Studio, and with the K. Izykowski and the Karol Munk Studio.

Since 2020, he has been cooperating with the Foundation of The World Didactic Centre in ŻELAZOWA WOLA – FRYDERYK CHOPIN’S Birthday Place and SMJP TANZANIA COMPANY LIMITED in the production of The 1^st World Charity Concert for Africa CHOPIN LOVES TANZANIA .
